SBAC Testing

Clement students will have the opportunity to take the field tests for the new testing program on the following dates:

4/14 – 4/18 – grades 7 and 8

4/21 – 4/25 – grade 6

Scores are not reported for the field tests and there will be no make-up dates. This is simply an opportunity for us to explore what these tests will look like.

Clement Wins the California Business for Education Excellence Honor Roll!

MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL

 The Redlands Unified School District is offering a five-week summer school program from Tuesday, June 17 to Friday, July 18th (No school on Friday, July 4th). The following remedial classes will be offered to incoming 8th graders (currently in 7th grade).

English Language Development (open to select EL students only)

Remedial Reading/Math (open to students receiving poor grades in both English and mathematics)

All classes are at Moore Middle School. Applications can be picked up and returned to the Clement Student Center

Common Core Information Sessions

The Redlands Unified School District will be a holding a series of Common Core Information Sessions for parents during the Spring of 2014. These identical sessions will provide information regarding the RUSD's transition to Common Core State Standards. Sessions will also discuss the Smarter Balanced testing program and new requirements for Standardized Testing being piloted in California this school year.

Volunteer Information

Assembly Bill 346 requires schools to obtain specific documentation from each volunteer as well as School Board Approval. This includes field trip chaperones.

The following items must be recieved in the office BEFORE we can request School Board Approval:
  1. Current TB clearance.
  2. Megan's Law Check
  3. Worker's Compensation Paperwork
  4. Board Agenda Request
This process, including School Board Approval, can take up to four weeks. Please contact the Principal's Secretary, Vicki Bierma, at 307-5400 x41103 with any questions regarding this process.
